How do you nominate a best of Craigslist? ›

Funny or memorable postings may be nominated for "best of craigslist" via the "best-of" link.

To avoid Craigslist ads getting flagged, make sure that your content is unique and original while complying with the website's Terms of Use. For example, in many cases, using images or logos owned by other companies or persons may cause your listing to be removed from the website due to copyright infringement.

General Guidelines. Although there are specific guidelines for how long an ad stays on Craigslist based on the type of ad and posting locale, the service has a list of master guidelines that supersede the others. Under these guidelines, all job postings expire after 30 days for paid ads and 45 days for free ads.

In addition to flagging a Craigslist post as inappropriate, you can flag it for the Best of Craigslist hall of fame. To do so, simply click the "best of" link near the bottom of a Craigslist post. These can include posts that are funny, heartwarming or otherwise memorable.

Once you have a favorite posting, a "favorites" link will appear in the upper right corner of the search results page. If you are not logged in, favorites lists are temporary files associated with the browser used to create them. If the file is deleted, all of your favorites will be lost.
