Before you buy the Ere Perez Rice Powder Blush in Bondi ($40, refills are $32), check out my honest, in-depth review.

I got very into peach blush a few months ago. I needed something other than pink, and I wasn't into the red blush trend, so here I am. I've been testing this combo blush for over a month now and have a few things to share with you before you add it to your cart...

Why trust me?

I’ve tested and honestly reviewed thousands of products over the past seven years. You can learn more about my method here, and check out my skin/hair profile here for context.

I purchased this product. The opinions below are my own. You will always receive my honest, in-depth review over here.

INGREDIENTS*

1. WHAT’S INSIDE? IS THE BRAND TRANSPARENT?

  • A vegan and cruelty-free formula with non-GMO ingredients

  • I have shade Bondi, which looks like the only shade

  • Hero ingredients are "anti-inflammatory rice starch to hydrate and soothe," along with "sunflower oil, and added vitamin E and chamomile for calming and brightening benefits."

  • It's a mica-first formula followed by tapioca starch (I rarely see this and kind of love the use of it here)

  • Squalene, rice starch, and sunflower oil are up top

  • Other than that, I'm not seeing any red flags pop up, and the brand is 100% transparent about what's inside

  • 100% refillable aluminium packaging

APPLICATION: 5/5

2. IS IT EASY TO APPLY? DOES IT FOLLOW THROUGH ON CLAIMS?

  • CLAIM: "buildable, oil-absorbing formula"

  • This applies easily with a soft, fluffy brush (the powder picks up easily and evenly), and I saw very little kickback

  • I rarely just go with one shade and instead like combining the two, but that's just a personal call

  • The pressed powder is smooth and super easy to work with

  • I really only needed the lightest touch to see that peachy color, and yep, it's very buildable, thanks to a smooth, pressed texture

  • I also love to brush this across my eyelids for a quick pop of color

PAYOFF: 5/5

3. HOW IS PIGMENT? DOES IT SHOW UP? IS IT BUILDABLE?

  • CLAIM: "matte mandarin & coral pink glimmer"

  • It's very strong. A light amount goes a long way whether you're using one shade or combining both

  • Also, if you're curious, the 'glimmer' pink isn't super shiny or glittery

FINISH/CREASING: 5/5

4. WHAT DOES FINISH LOOK LIKE?

  • CLAIM: “soft-focus, velvet shimmer finish”

  • It followed through here. The blush and flush look natural but can build without looking too 'costume-y'

  • The glimmer/shimmer is very natural looking as well - nothing too glowy like a highlighter

WEAR TEST: 3/5

5. DID IT LAST ALL DAY?

  • CLAIM: “Long-lasting”

  • After several eight-hour wear tests, I saw some fading of the color

  • It wasn't significant, but it wasn't insignificant I debated between a '3' and '4' here but ended up with a '3' for now because it was too noticeable several times in a row

TOTAL SCORE - 18/20

STYLESHAKER 🌎 IMPACT SCAN

🧴 Product packaging: infinitely recyclable and refillable packaging

📦 Shipping packaging: FSC-certified paper is used, and the shipper packaging is minimal

🧪 Ingredient sourcing: The brand "uses organic ingredients where possible and chooses potent and nutritive ingredients but widely available."

👯 Labor practices: I'm not finding any information about whether their ingredients, like mica, are ethically sourced

OVERALL: 🙂 LOOKING GOOD

THE PROS:

  • great ingredients with full transparency

  • incredibly sustainable packaging

  • so easy to apply; pressed powder is always more forgiving

  • the payoff is STRONG here, but you can play with it, so it's versatile

  • finish followed through on the natural-looking claims

  • it held all-day

THE CONS:

  • only one color combo is available

  • they’re missing info about ethical sourcing on their product page

  • color faded on me a bit in the wear tests

THE OTHER OPTIONS:

MY FINAL VERDICT:

WHEN I FINISH THIS, WILL I BUY MORE? IS IT WORTH IT?

  • It's easy to apply, I love the color, and it lasts

  • Not to mention the fact that it's eco-friendly

  • When I finish this, I'll get a refill if I'm still feeling the peach vibes I do wish they had more shades available!

💜 MY FAVORITES 💜

Curious about what I have bought again and again (and again)? Of the hundreds of products I’ve tried, these are the winners.
